This is Why I Am Thankful

 I am taking a moment to express my praise and thanksgiving for the end of this year and the beginning of this next year!  God has been good to me. My health my family my friends and colleagues are just a few of the blessings God has placed in my life.  I did not have to be here but He has seen fit to give me the opportunity. My prayer is to live this life to His glory in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Sister, I appreciate your Amen!  It is in agreement and says "so be it!" or "let it be so!"  Our pastor, Pastor Larry Atkins, did an entire message entitled "Let It Be".  Amen,

I thank God for you C.Cooper! I Thessalonians 5:18 reminds us to give thanks in every situation.  Not everyone can come through 12 months with a thankful heart.  Your thankfulness tells us you have a faith that sustained you, and your faith is in the right One.  May you experience His riches blessings in 2017. 

I'm Thankful for having a wonderful family.That stuck by me when I needed them the most ,that I'm cancer free and still among the living.Praise the Lord ❤

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed."  Isaiah 53:5 reminds us that Jesus paid it all!  How wonderful to be cancer free because of what He did for us at Calvary, and to have family by our side as we walk out our faith.  Yes, praise the Lord.

I just thank God for a strong Christian family, and solid friends...being able to work, pay my bills. For His protections, and mercies when I'm in the wrong. Thankful for the hope in the future He gives while we're oblivious to what He's doing, keeping us pressing forward through the trials of life! God bless 2017!!

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" -- Ephesians 3:20 (NIV).  Couri, your thankfulness expresses the evidence of our Lord's fulfillment of this truth!  It's a wonderful affirmation that He is faithful.

I am so thankful for God's grace and mercy. I walk with his hand on me wherever I go. I will follow him to the end of the earth! Happy New Year.. To all be blessed!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.  Psalm 23:6 (KJV).  And, even when we cannot walk, He carries us!  Your post is a blessing; a testimony that speaks to HIS FAITHFULNESS.  We live in His house surrounded by His love.

I am thankful to see a New Year. It's been a rough 2016 but I feel greater in 2017.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! --1 Corinthians 15:57, (American Standard) I really like that you spell thankful as thank "full". We experience some rough times, but through it all we trust Him for a brighter tomorrow.

I was given the opportunity to reflect on my Year of 2016......I must say that I am truly greatful for being blessed to see the end of 2016! ..... Can I be real and honest with you? I can't say that I will miss 2016, but I can say that God has been good to me. 2016 was a rough year for me, but through it all, I'm still here!! There were moments of joy, sadness, and tears! I thank you Lord for keeping me, for comforting me, for strengthening me and for carrying me through this year! I have to say it was a very trying year, BUT God!!!! But God....has kept me through it all! He's strengthened me so, I'm a little stronger than I was! He's kept me in my right mind! God is so good!!

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. -- Isaiah 43:2, (NASB)  Isn't it a blessing to know that our Lord has provided for us in every possible circumstance that could do us harm or frustrate us?  Is it no wonder He said "My peace I leave you?"  You are so right my sister, "But God!"

Part 2:
When I look back over this year, I must say that I'm thankful for all my family and my friends! My prayer is that 2017 be the year of great joy and many blessings for ALL my family and friends!! Let us be here for one another and continue to lift each other up in prayer! There is power in prayer! Gods word says that if we only believe so, I will continue to believe that 2017 will be better for us all. I believe that God has something great in store for each of us!!!! So, let rejoice and believe in His word!! His word, that says He will never leave us nor forsake us! Believe that God knows the plans He has for 'each' of us, to give us hope, a future and not to harm us! So, I say all this to say, despite what we've gone through in 2016, God has GREATER in store for us in 2017!!! Just believe in His word and stand strong on His promises!!! We serve a great God who deserves all of our praises......

Sister, I truly appreciate your post.  Our Lord is the giver of every good and perfect gift.  He knows how to deal with our frustrations and has the perfect plan for removing us from them.  In Isaiah 43:18-19 He said, "Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past. “Behold, I will do something new,
Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert."  He is our roadway where there is no way out!  He is our water in dry places!  Is there any wonder that our Lord said "My peace I leave you?" Jesus is the Way.

P.S. If anyone is experiencing an 'Err' message when they are trying to save there comments, Don't Fret! What I realized is that there is a word limit so, enter your comments in sections and they will be saved! God is good....don't give up! :~). Be blessed!

Post what the Lord puts on your heart!  He know what and who needs to "hear" your testimony!

FYI.......When I was trying to enter my comments I was getting very frustrated because, I wasn't able to save my comments. I played around with this for hours, but I refused to give up and if you are or were experiencing this same problem I don't want you to give up!! Stay persistent and keep the course!

So, I thought there was a word limit, but as I was entering my last set of comments, which was shorter in words than my previous two entries, it still would allow me to save the last entry. Then, I noticed that I had two emoticons in the last paragraph of my post. So, I removed the emoticons and my comments were saved.

So, when entering comments I suggest that you do not add any emoticons when submitting your entry. I believe that will allow for an easy save.

Thank you for not giving up and for posting your experience.  Some of us might get frustrated and quit.  It helps to know what others are going through.
